Hold onto your hats — it’s time for one of the most exciting events of the night! The Mutton Bustin’ competition, proudly sponsored by CM Services, is a fan-favorite tradition at the Gladewater Round-Up Rodeo.
Our Youngest Rodeo Stars
Every evening before the main rodeo performance, our youngest cowboys and cowgirls take center stage. At 7:45 PM, the arena lights shine bright as kids ages 4 to 7 climb aboard and hang on for six thrilling seconds of sheep-riding action. It’s laughter, cheers, and memories in the making — and the crowd loves every minute!
ONLINE ENTRIES OPEN MAY 26, 2025, AT NOON AND CLOSE JUNE 2, 2025, AT MIDNIGHT (11:59 PM). THERE IS A $25 REGISTRATION FEE, DUE AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.
- To be eligible, children must:
- Be between 4 and 7 years old
- Weigh 50 pounds or less
